Most PowerPoint slide shows are a real snooze. Not this one that reportedly shows Toyota’s future product timeline, though. Credit a snitch at a recent dealer conference who snapped this pic, which reveals the launch timeline for several of our favorite Toyotas, as well as news of two new crossovers. Surprised?
According to the sleuths over at GR86.org, Toyota plans to roll out a refreshed 86 with a 255-hp turbocharged 2.4-liter flat-four engine next summer (both fingers crossed here). That news alone makes our day. But wait there’s more! If things go as planned, then this timeline reveals that we will see a hybrid Sienna minivan in the fall, as well as a yet-unnamed new hybrid crossover.
After the debut of the updated 86, Toyota plans to introduce an additional new crossover model. Soon thereafter the brand will take the wraps off of the next-generation Tundra pickup truck. Additionally, Toyota will show off a new Sequoia and 4Runner in 2022. Too cool, right?
While we’re speculating on all this good news, we must remind you that Toyota’s confirmed none of the information relayed in this slide. In other words, don’t believe anything you hear until Toyota actually reveals the products in this leaked image.
