Will debut at Geneva Motor Show this week
The Mercedes-Benz S-Class is already nicer than most people’s living rooms, but a new special edition model ups the ante even more. For 2019, Mercedes-Benz is offering an Exclusive Edition S-Class coupe and cabriolet with a host of upgrades, including LED lights with Swarovski crystals.
They also receive exclusive paint finishes named Aragonite Silver and Rubellite Red. Convertible models come with a dark red or beige soft top, depending on the paint selected. Inside the cabin, look for light brown high-gloss wood, a Burmester surround sound system, and “Exclusive Edition” badging on the cup holder cover in the center console.
The Exclusive package brings along special Nappa leather seats with a diamond pattern. The seats come in Porcelain/Titian Red or Porcelain/Espresso Brown color themes with contrast stitching. For added plushness, the Nappa leather extends to the armrests, instrument panel, and door center panels. Also look for special floor mats in Titian Red or Porcelain and door sills with illuminated Mercedes-Benz lettering. Like other S-Class models, the Exclusive Edition’s interior revolves around a Widescreen Cockpit that has spread throughout the Mercedes lineup even down to the new A-Class.
Mercedes will begin selling the special two-door models in April. Details for the U.S. market, including pricing and engines, have not yet been announced.
