RADwood Austin 2020 was quite the event, showcasing hundreds of cars from the 1980s and 1990s. If you haven’t checked out our Rad All-American ’80s and ’90s cars from this year’s event, you should. The most prominent American car platform at RADwood Austin had to be the Ford Fox Body. Obviously, most of the Fox Bodies were Mustangs, but there were a handful of other variants in the mix including one of our favorites, the Mercury Capri Turbo RS pictured up top. Of the Mustang Fox Body cars, we were pleased to find a wide variety of examples ranging from the early-’80s variants with those iconic quad square headlights to ’90s turbo four-banger Mustang SVOs. And, while most people might look away in disgust when it comes to the interiors of 1980s and 1990s cars, we love heading back in time to examine the state of automotive interior design in any given decade.
